Being a Junior Member is a great opportunity for our youth to be part of a group having a common interest in firearms and shooting.
Junior members receive firearm familiarization and safety training and participate in both indoor and outdoor shooting activities, including trap and archery.
Members who are the parent, grandparent, or legal guardian of a child 12 thru 17 that would be interested in learning about, and using, different types of firearms, should give them the opportunity to become a Junior Member of the club.
We meet the first and third Sunday of each month from 9:30am to 11:30am. During the winter months, all of our meetings are held at the Janesville Range. In better weather we hold some of our meetings at our outdoor range in Milton.
Upon joining, all our junior members will receive, or provide proof of, firearms safety training before being able to handle firearms or shoot on the range.
